Judas Priest "Live"

God answered my prayers today. Rob Halford is leaning against my face, and I have my arm around him.

I love this man; I walked over to him and said, “I brought you a gift.” He said, “Really, what did you bring me?” I handed him a copy of my book and said, “This is a book I wrote. I would like you to have a copy.” He took it from my hand and said, “You wrote this?” He nodded and looked me in the eye, I cried like a baby when he said, "Thank you. Great, now I have something to read in the airplane on the ride home, thank you very much.” Holy shit, he said thank you to me! I said, “Oh my god, I love you so much, you have no idea how much you inspire me. I could cry right now.” I cried and cried and couldn’t stop smiling I was like some kind of freak.

He said he was going to read my book, that fucken rocks. I wrote a nice note inside, thanking him for the inspiration and I told him how much I loved him. I must have said it like five times. He chatted about the war of words premiere in NYC, and said he was really surprised how large the turnout was. Then we took a photograph together. He signed my Judas Priest Drive street sign, my Judas Priest picture disk and my Fight, War of Words DVD. What a gentleman, he truly is a GOD among men.

What a great night, all I can say is, Rob Halford, you are a beautiful soul, thank you for being my inspiration and my Metal God.
